Acting Shots

Hi! My name is Gisela Arcón, I'm so exited to participate in this year's awards! Here you can see some of the shots I animated during my studies at Animum Creativity Advance School:

This one is the first Cartoon shot I've ever animated.  As you can see, one of the most used techniques of Cartoon style, are the smear frames. This is something that helped me a lot to deal with fast movements without loosing visual track, making it look much more smooth

Here you can also see the progression shot. Going from references to polish.

The second shot I'm sharing is the last monologue that I animated. I tried to play with some subtle gestures, for instance the nervous hands movements and the restless eyes.

And to wind up this entry, I would like to share this pantomime. I had a really great time working in this shot, I find this poor character so charming, and I loved to see him struggling a little bit.
