Dragon Ignited - Fan Art

This was my final year project from university. I had so much fun creating this character as I adore the Spyro universe. As you can guess this is where the project was inspired from mainly the Spyro Reignited Trilogy. All the Elder Dragons from this series are male so I wanted the make a female one based on one of the realms. The realm I chose was  the Dream Weavers.  

The tail was a challenge to design, it had to be simple to be match the style, but also have the detail to be recognized as a dream catcher.

Here are some beauty renders created in Unreal. An idle pose to show of the tail and how it can be posed. And a bit of an action pose to show of the movement for the character and rigging.

The character was modelled in Zbrush, and the low poly produced in 3D Coat. Rigging and Unwraps where done within 3DS Max and substance was used for texturing. These are the software's I am mostly comfortable with and gained the most experience with during my time at university.
