Megan Gatt- 2022 Concept Art Portfolio

Hello! I'm Megan and I am a third year student from Norwich University of the Arts studying Games Art & Design; specialising in Concept Art. The work below is my current 2022 Portfolio, featuring both personal work as well as projects completed for my studies at University. 

The majority of my work portrays my love of animals and the fantasy genre, especially in the sense of character concepts. I really enjoy creating whimsical art pieces and am inspired by mythology and folklore!

Nim's World is a personal project that has formed from my memory of childhood dreams. When I was younger, I used to dream that when I fell asleep I would be transported to a magical world where my pet cat was actually a familiar, and I a Witch! This was the primary inspiration for this project and it is currently ongoing.

For my third year of university I focused on producing concepts for local Folklore in the Norfolk and Suffolk areas. Mythology and Folklore has always been fascinating to me, so these concepts were very fun to produce.
