Vintage Watercolor PaintBox

A beautiful vintage paintbox created by Winsor and Newton is something every traditional artist wants. It was an amazing experience creating this piece from the ground up and learned a lot during the process.

Process

Since the dimensions were a very integral part of this object. I made sure to model most of it as modular pieces, all the modeling and UV were done in Maya. 

Texturing/Zbrush

Most of my textures were done in Substance Painter and Photoshop. In terms of the mural, I had to create the stencil in Photoshop in order to use it as an alpha. Overall used Zbrush to add break up and damage.

All aspects of this project were done by me. V-ray was my primary render engine.
