SYFY ID Stop Motion Animation

The SYFY ID project was created at Ringling College of Art and Design for a project in an Animation Techniques class. The focus of the project was to create a fifteen-second stop motion animation to convey a short story between an alien and dragon character. The story and design would reflect the style of the SYFY Network. My story focuses on the Alien and Dragon disputing over the Dragon's choice to eat the SYFY logo. Paper cutouts of the characters were used on a lightbox to animate using Dragonfarme. The frames were later imported into Adobe After Effects for editing and composting.
