Character design

From the start of my 3rd semester at CDW I had created a cast of characters based around a post apocalyptic futuristic setting. I quite enjoyed making them.

These were the 4 characters I ended up designing for the setting with them being scaled how I imagined them to be amongst one another

An "Evil God"

This was the first of the characters made in the series, I wanted to go for a fat boss robot kind of look and this was the result. I think this was the weakest of the characters made in terms of looks.

A "Good God"

This was The second character I designed, a so called good god, I wanted to create something like a fragile broken doll for a character. In my head this would be what the main character would be working for int he setting. I bounced around a few iterations on how I wanted the leg joints to work around.

An apostle for the "Evil god"

This next character was designed to be something like a servant for the evil god, as such I wanted to keep it looking like a machine. I wasn't too happy with how the first god ended up looking so I tried to make this one look a lot more interesting while also keeping some visuals that would end up making the 2 seem related somehow.

The servant of the "Good God"

I wanted to make this character feel more like a traveler and feel a bit more human than the "Good God" I ended up choosing a design that felt a bit more modern in clothing to try and push in a more modern feel than what nomadic rags would do.

Though there's still a lot that I know I need to improve on, I do hope I get better and faster at going through this process. I hoped you liked looking at my entry.
