Character designs for a fictitious horror game set in the time of the Ancient Romans versus the Picts in Ancient Scotland.
SOLUS: Centurion
A concept design project created as my Final Year project at Abertay University. The project contains character designs for a horror video game that puts the player in the shoes of a lost Roman Centurion who is being stalked by terrifying Pictish creatures North of Hadrian's Wall.
The Pictish Soldier
One of the fiercest enemies in SOLUS: Centurion. The former farmers of Pictland, turned into mindless savages by the dark magic of the Druids. They are large, hulking creatures who will attack the player on sight.
The Spectres
The restless and decaying Roman corpses who are summoned by the Druids to roam the land, haunting any foreign invaders. They are the fallen Roman soldiers from the Roman Empire's first attempt to take control of Pictland.
The Druids
The ruthless rulers of Pictland. Their power comes from the dark rituals they undertake, giving them magical abilities they use for their own gain. Commanding hordes of Pictish Soldiers and summoning Spectres to maintain control of the lands they have usurped from their rightful heirs.
