Solitude in the snow

3d environment artwork inspired on street photography look. I'm responsible for all environment aspects(modeling, texturing, layout, lighting comp).

Human models are from :

https://renderpeople.com/free-3d-people/

Objects were placed to break edges of building and it was decided to use teal and orange for a good color contrast. I placed camera so that it looks like it was taken by a smartphone. I also tried to make many lines flow into the man.

Here are close-up renders of two main props. Most of the modeling was done in Maya, textures were made in Substance Painter.

CASTELO DE ALGOSO

Practice of procedural environment approach. Everything was done in Houdini(modeling ,shading, scattering),rendered in Arnold.

Procedural shading was done by mixing many materials downloaded from Megascans.

Pacific Central Station

My first environment artwork I did during my school life at Vanarts. I tried to make a really impressive building nearby my school .

I took over 100 reference photos . Modeling was done in Maya, textures were made in Substance Painter. Lighting was decided to be a dry winter morning atmosphere that is common in the area.

I hope you enjoyed all my environment artworks and go check my latest demo reel!
