Game Environment Projects
I am a game art student from France and here are some of my recent game environment projects.
Desert Nomadic Market | Game environment (UE 5)
As part of our realistic props course at Institut Artline, we had to build an entire game-ready scene in groups of two. The theme was 'street markets' and the goal was to use a combination of modular and unique assets to furnish a game environment.
After a few brainstorming sessions, my partner (Thomas Chevrolet) and I decided to go for an oriental and nomadic style of market. We wanted to have a mix of traditional and futuristic elements as we envisioned this market being on an alien planet (such as Arrakis from Dune, one of our main inspirations) and owned by traders who go from one place to another selling craftsmanship items and scrap parts from lost ships.
Thomas and I are responsible for everything in this environment except for vegetation which are Megascan assets.
Modular assets that were used to build the market stalls:
Enlighten | Game Jam Project
A few months ago I had the opportunity to participate in the 2022 Brackeys game jam with a group of students from my school. I was part of the art team in charge of modeling, texturing and integrating the assets in the game.
The game was also submitted in the game of the year category for the Rookies Awards, you can check it out HERE.
Here are all the assets made by our art team followed by the assets I have personally made:
Cristal Chest | Stylized game props
Here is a game chest I made as part of my stylized props modeling course. It is based on a concept by Olivia Kuieck which I will include in the last image. I also made a small diorama to showcase it.
