What's Missing? is a first person, surreal puzzle game where you guess the differences between the repeating identical rooms. You would expect that only objects will be missing, but after playing more of the game, other aspects will be different as well.

With over 30 levels and two areas so far, this game will make you think about things in a way you have never thought about before in a game. The puzzles have been tweaked to also give you optional hints if you're stuck in a level, but you can ignore them if you're a hardcore puzzler!
Each area we've made so far has its own theme. The theme of the first area is missing, where objects will be missing in the environment. The second area has the theme of size, where objects can be either too small or too big.
Not only objects are the ones that can be different, but other aspects as well. For example, gravity, light, color, or time itself. In our game, we looked at what aspects we could make missing or change in size without making the game unplayable.
You play as Gregory, who is somehow trapped inside an infinite loop of repeating rooms. Unravel the story of how he got trapped in the first place, and it might turn out that Gregory has to confront his trauma and the sad truth.
We're currently working hard on the rest of What's Missing? to make sure it's ready for release on Steam.
We're planning on making a third area with more puzzles that expand the core game mechanic even further. But that's not all! We're also working on adding a final boss battle that you'll fight with the game mechanics you've learned and have a fitting conclusion to the story.
Meet the Team
M.I.G. (Missing in Groupname) studios consist of three amazing developers and a composer.
Joyce van der Zon
One of the two artists that work hard on all the beautiful detailed environments, the user interface, and the player character itself!
The other artist who is working hard on the design, the animation, and everything else that comes with creating a boss for the boss battle.
The programmer who makes sure the game runs at all (and hopefully without bugs).
The composer that works hard to make fitting music that fits with the different environments and makes sure the game sounds good.
We've got a demo that is playable if you want to try it out yourself. The demo is downloadable here.
