The process.

A couple of sci-fi environment concepts using the help of Blender.

Dhalang is a story that takes place in the fantasy and folklore infused past of Malaysian and Indonesian Wayang Kulit shadow puppetry.

An aspiring puppeteer wants to prove to her sister she’s ready to partake in their Wayang Kulit shows but is brushed off every time. Feeling dejected after ruining her sister’s practice, Kirana practices solemnly when suddenly her puppet’s shadow starts to have a mind of its own! Seeing the wonderous illusions it is able to perform, Kirana seizes this opportunity to finally prove her worth to her sister Diann with this spectacular display, even if the shadow starts affecting her better judgement.

I was assigned to design the main protagonist and antagonist of this project.
