The Cryptic Creed
The Cryptic is a story I created about individuals who are sent to a parallel universe similar to our own. In order to escape, these individuals are challenged emotionally, mentally and physically through intense tasks that will be judged by a mysterious entity known as The Cryptic.
Although these individuals aren’t entirely bad, they aren’t entirely good either. My series challenges the grey area of what is a good person and a bad person. Not everyone is destined to leave this world if the Cryptic doesn’t deem them worthy; because of this, The Cryptic Creed is born.
The Cryptic Creed is a rebellious underground group that sabotages those trying to escape. However, before the Creed’s corruption, it started as a group researching ways to escape without proving themselves worthy to the entity.
The designs below are exploring what the common soldier would look like and the Cryptic Creed Boss would look like.
The design below is a high ranked soldier named Violet, she is the right hand lady of the Boss. Violet carries out most of the sabotage missions.

Original Character designed for The Owl House
The aim of this brief was to create an original character for the animated show The Owl House by Dana Terrace. I wanted to create a side character that could be incorporated into the show and mix with the main characters.
Maze
Maze is a gifted young student witch from the beast keeping coven. Aged 14, Maze is very well aware of how smart he is. However, Maze is always outshined by the main characters of the show. This makes Maze's character a total jerk to his other classmates and sees the main characters from his school as a threat.
If this character were to be in the show, he would be more of a filler character.
Maze's Palisman - Red Ferret
In The Owl House, witches have palisman. Palisman are a mixture between a witch's familiar and a witch's staff. For Maze, his palisman is a red ferret.
