LT Concept Art

It's been a while since I've done some art, I've been focusing on learning more about the writing process and how it is entailed in game development. So I decided to touch up some old art I had done for personal work in a longstanding project I've been working on since high school. I went in and played around with shading and utilized some seamless camouflage textures I made vectors of earlier in the year for use in other illustrations.

I have a large research folder for the equipment of the characters I design. From uniforms, weapons, and accessories, I track down what would have been used in the time period I have the technology stops at in the world. In this case, I went with anything from WW2 to the 90s. This character is mostly 90s US military equipment with some alternate weapon choices.

I had gone through a few different sketches and poses with alterations along the way until it looked just right.

After I got all the shading done, I went in and overlayed my vector camo textures.
