My second year short film, When in Rome, is a bit of a love letter in several ways: first and most obviously, to my partner, who voiced Rome while I voiced Basil, second—and more broadly— to trans love and relationships far beyond just my own. This film was animated while I recovered from top surgery, a decision that has brought me immeasurable happiness, so lastly, this film is for and because of trans joy, and the joy I find in my identity and body.

The soundtrack consists of an original song composed, sung, and performed on piano by me.
