                  Love You Most

Inspired by Pixar’s Toy Story, ‘Love You Most’ is a story about a father and daughter relationship.

The day before his daughter’s wedding, the father looks at the wedding invitation and realized that his daughter had grown up so fast. ‘Love You Most’ is a short animation expresses sadness and sense of love for a daughter.

Credit to my dad who loves me so much, always welled his eyes with teas whenever I talk about my marriage.

I’ve worked on the project from the scratch.

I concentrated on the early pre-production, animation, and post-production. Because of the limited capacity and limited amount of time, I’ve decided to purchase some assets, and make some props on my own.

Story / Concept Art / Story board / 2D Animatics / 3D Previz / Animation / Prop Modeling / Rendering / Compositing/ Editing / Color Grading

[Pre-production] - Story and Art Stuff

I tried to put together all of my ideas together. I first come up with a story and drawing some of the key cuts of my animation. Later, this color script got really important on rendering.

[Pre-production] - 2D Animatics

I want to check if my story is reliable and to draw and shape my vision inside my head; I tried to come up with a solid 2d Animatics before the actual production.

[Pre-production] - 3D previz

Before I jump on to the animation, I wanted to make sure every character’s position, overall big movement and the layout looks harmonious.

[Production] - Animation

I've took a reference video of myself to make my animation relilable.

[Production] - Rendering

Rendering! was the hardest part of the project for me. I've tried to stick with the color script as much as possible. And tired different lighting set up to make the scene more authentic.

[Post-production] - compositing / editing / color grading

I’ve had a lot of noises while I was rendering using Arnold. I tried to remove them on compositing as much as possible.

For the editing and color grading, I used premiere-pro and after effects to make sure the tone and manner / continuity matches with each of the shot.
