TRANSFORMING MYSELF
The progress of a year working.
TRANSFORMING MYSELF
These are some of the projects I’ve worked on for a year at Butic the New School.
1. Timeless cabin
The first work I exhibited was entitled "The timeless cabin" , which has a surface area of 60m². This was inspired by nature, but as well modern concept was integrated into the architecture. Further, I dared to create black and white photographic compositions, this technique captivated my senses; consequently, I tried to create peculiar photographic frames.
This project has allowed me to practice different models like organize the land together with the vegetation in such a way that it surrounds the house; Likewise, the materials were created and mapped, with the idea of generating the sensations that can be produce being inside the cabin. The lighting of each render has played an important role in the design process and material decision.

2. Helical staircase
The second work was carried out for a project that was developed in the city of Cobán, Alta Verapaz, Guatemala. The staircase was based on a coffee shop. The modeling of the helical staircase with a sculptural character presented a challenge because the blueprint doesn’t present a complete helical shape since the first steps are straight. Another challenge was managing the composition of light to create harmony between materials and lighting.

3. Creative workshop “Reminiscence”
The creative project that I developed in the academy has allowed me to face the difficulty of capturing a sensation that awakens the sense of smell, through images that present colors associated with citrus aromas. This motivated me to experiment with elements such as water, smoke, and music.
