This old VW belonged to a Hippie from the West Coast of America in 1969. The owner traveled far and wide until the bus eventually became a collection of memories.

This old VW belonged to a Hippie from the West Coast of America in 1969. I was inspired to start this project because I live in San Francisco, where I got used to seeing colorful and spirited hippies. The games Fallout 4 and Bioshock Infinite were the major inspirations for setting this project in the 60's. The car graphics are my original illustrations in Photoshop. This car is based on the 67' Volkswagen model, with minor adjustments based on art style and composition.
