Sumerian props and speeder
In this post I show some of the props I've been making during this year. I really like to work on the props to make them as realistic as possible.
Desert Speeder
I have been working on this hero prop for about 2-3 weeks. I modelled it in 3Ds Max and textured it in substance painter. I tried to make it as optimized as possible for videogames even having the best possible result. To make this hero prop I was inspired by the vehicles from Dune and Star Wars.
The aim of this prop is to give the ambience of a futuristic vehicle that has been used for a long time.
Sumerian Vessels
I had to create some sets of pots for the current class project. To create them I researched historical finds of Sumerian vessels that have been found in order to recreate them as faithfully as possible.
To make them I mainly made them in 3Ds Max, then I made the highpoly in Zbrush and textured them in Substance Painter to finally add them in Unreal Engine.
Sumerian Awnings
These are an awning kit I have been making for the current project we are working on, the intention was to make some realistic canvases that resemble as much as possible the atmosphere on stage.
To give it a better result, I've worked on the physics of the cloth in Unreal Engine and added wind, as well as working on a shader with a partner to give them the feeling of translucence.
To make this kit I mainly worked on it in 3Ds Max with the cloth modifier, then I gave it more detail in Zbrush, then I textured them in Substance Painter and finally with the shader and the physics I finished improving them in Unreal Engine.
