Krichyua Gracilis

Below you will see a breakdown of the process of creating this quadruped. Going into the project I knew I wanted to create a creature that somehow seemed connected to the nature around it, and would both appear friendly but had the capacity to kill as well. For this part of the pipeline we had the help of the amazing creature designer Brynn Metheney, who helped the design process along. Going into sculpting I tried to keep most of the design while still exploring if some changes could make the final piece stronger. Here I had the great fortune of having Kim Strandli as a teacher. For texturing we had the great Daniele Orsetti who introduced me to Mari where I had a good time with learning the program and making my creature come alive. In the end we had the task of integrating our creature into a live action scene, and taught by the super nice and helpful Josh Parks my creature landed in the midst of a public library. 

Therefore, a huge thanks to my teachers for supervising and helping out on this project, and to my amazing classmates who were always super helpful. It was a great experience for me and I can't wait to create more creatures in the near future!
