HOUDINI FX DEMO REEL 2022
Hi everyone! This is my first university course using Houdini and I would like to show you some of the projects I've done during this last 6 months.
I'm so proud of the work that I've done, and I hope you enjoy it!
This is my first Houdini project. In this project I wanted to focus on the shading, lighting, lookdev and composting aspects.
This was such a useful project for someone like me that has been working with Maya. So I get used to working with all these aspects with this new software and render engine. I think this project has a really good look, although improvements can be made, I'm so happy with the result.
This one is the first pop simulation project that I've done in Houdini.
The objective was to do a growing tree effect, I've worked the trunk and the branches in different ways, in order to get much more control over each part. So I worked every part differently.
I consider that the final result is actually pretty nice and has an interesting look.
This is also my first RBD simulation, and I've enjoyed a lot working on it.
At the beginning, I had a hard time looking at what to do for this project. Until my brother showed me a video of a Lego car crashing done with RBD, I loved the idea. So I took that concept and mix it up with another video that I've seen on a plane crashing also done with RBD.
I think the result it's pretty cool, hope you like it.
This is my FLIPS project, by far the most difficult project I have ever made since I began on this VFX trip.
Not only for the time that requires working with this solver, but for the second shot of the project. Working with an underwater shot gave me in fact a very hard time, but in the end I was able to achieve a result that I'm so proud of.
This is my first Pyro simulation, I also had a great time working in this project.
The objective was to create a scene where a military convoy is getting attacked by an enemy missile. In the scene, there are a few pyro simulations working at the same time to give a better look both to the environment and the explosion simulation itself.
I love the final result that I've achieved, and I hope you do it so!
This is my 2022 reel, thank you for taking your time to watch it and I hope you enjoy it.
I want to thank Ernest Monter, Enrique Zancajo and Francesc Bolló for helping me during this year to achieve these results that you've seen.
Have a good one!!!
