Forgotten Memories: Chapter 1

Forgotten Memories is a 2D adventure game based on Chinese mythology on the reincarnation process involving Meng Po, the Goddess of Forgetfulness, and other souls where the souls will go on an adventure to find back their memories before they reincarnate. 

Story

After going through the 18 levels of hell, the souls will come to the NaiHe bridge which, guard by Grandma Meng, the Goddess of Forgetfulness. She guards the bridge and is in charge of removing all memories of one’s past life by giving the Bittersweet Broth which she boiled with the tears of souls based on five different emotions. After having the broth, the souls get reborn into a new earthly incarnation to begin the cycle again.

As the game was originally created in Chinese language, the visual design is crafted based on Chinese typography. I have made an English version to have a wider audience group. I will upload the trailer and video walkthrough in both languages for the best viewing experience.
