The Fairy Temple - 妖精神

This is my first environment piece, a Japanese inspired floating island concept that I designed! I wanted to create a cute and fairy-esque environment with Japanese elements like the Torii gate.

As you move the slider you can see the day to night transformation! :)

I painted all the pieces in Substance Painter, and modeled everything in Maya. I made the Sakura tree cards and grass shoots in Photoshop.

Stylized Elf 

This is my first character model, a cute elf girl I designed. She was so much fun to make and I learned so much from the creating her using the box-modeling method.

I painted her in Substance Painter, and her eyelashes were made using x-gen in Maya. I made her hair with a method I discovered by using sweep mesh, and I really like how it came out in the close up details!  :)
