Table For Four
This was my submission for my Foundation Term Final Project at Think Tank Training Centre , based on the beautiful concept "Table for Four" by Matt Dixon.
This was the first time I had to recreate a 2D concept into 3D in five weeks. I learned how to use X-gen and V-Ray Volumetric fog which proved to be quite challenging in such a short time. To match the painterly look of the concept , I hand-painted the textures in Substance Painter. For the extra detailing of the plank and the cloth , I went out of my comfort zone and sculpted in Zbrush. The rest of the project was modeled in Maya and rendered in V-Ray. To conclude , I added a vignette effect using Photoshop to get the look as per the concept. I gained a lot of knowledge about the different softwares from this project and I am very grateful for that.
Many thanks to Matt Dixon for this amazing concept, he has an entire robot series and it is super cute.
This project would not have been possible without the help of my instructors, my fellow classmates and family, who helped me when I needed them the most and encouraged me to not give up.
Hope you all like it! Cheers
