Here is a personal project I've been working on in my free time over the last couple of months. I really enjoyed working on this project, I used it as an opportunity to push myself in as many ways possible and I feel like I learnt a lot from it! My main inspiration came from the amazing worlds of God of War and the Souls games, as I absolutely love there hand sculpted fantasy art styles and wanted to try my hand at recreating that aesthetic. Modelling was done primarily in Zbrush, textures in Substance Painter and Designer, clouds in Photoshop, and finally assembled and rendered in Unreal engine 5. All aspects were created by me accept for the grasses and terrain material which were sourced from Megascans.
This is a small project I've been working on in my free time over the past few weeks. I wanted to create a battle worn hero axe from a realistic Viking world and I'm quite pleased with how it turned and with new techniques I developed along the way.
