Tuscany Night
Tuscany Night is a real time environment made in Unreal Engine 5. It's a quaint street corner bathed in moonlight. It is based of a lovely piece of concept art by Mark Komorowski available here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/KrVAeo

Tuscany Night is a project completed while in my second year studying game art at Staffs Uni. It is a street corner based on a lovely piece of concept art by: Mark Komorowski. Throughout this project I had a blast trying out new workflows and keeping assets as reusable as possible. I learned a lot about creating foliage and using Zbrush to create a trim sheet, and also implementing a sculpting workflow into some of my kit pieces.
It has been very interesting to play around with Unreal Engine 5's lumen technology and see the scene come to life! It was also a very big first for me in creating foliage, I tried a few different methods and eventually ended up scanning in some real ivy and touching it up in designer to get my final atlas.
This project was created using: UE5, 3dsmax, Substance Painter, Substance Designer, Substance 3d Sampler, Photoshop, Houdini and Zbrush.
All assets were made by me apart from the torn paper decal which was an image online that I used to create the decal from!
I also used a picture of the moon from google (made the alpha myself)
