The film is set in the 1920s during the winter. I took inspiration from fashion magazines and book illustrations from the 20s so the figure is tall and slim and the colours are usually flat.
The cat was one of my favourite things to draw! As a cat lover it brought me immense joy trying to portray as much cuteness as possible!
Backgrounds
Lots of colour patches, patterns, and windows!! The street design was inspired by Brussels and Prague's architecture.
