Trial of Zhendu
Graduation portfolio for the diploma program at Syn Studio. The project is a reimagining of 'Jason and the Argonauts' as a historical fantasy set along the Silk Road, with Iolcus based on the Turkic Khaganates and Colchis based on Tang Dynasty China.
Medea:
An eccentric princess of Colchis who possesses powerful magic abilities. She is very pious, and helps the Argonauts because her god has shown them favor. Her weapons of choice are sharpened joss sticks and a ceremonial dagger so that she can incorporate aspects of prayer and ritual sacrifice into battle.Colchis:
