Illustration Portfolio

The brief for this piece was to create an illustration appropriate for Magic: The Gathering.

On a plane where the use of magic almost entirely faded away, a small band of heroes seek out a way to bring the strength of magic back to what it once was. In their search, they encounter the Sage of the Forgotten Way, a giant red panda that can teach them how to draw power from the waning mana in the world, however faint it may be.

This piece was an exploration of anthropomorphic character design, colour and visual storytelling.

A magic-touched warrior and her bear-folk ally adventures through a dangerous valley to save her sister from a corrupted god.
