A compilation of my first 3D animation exercises at Animum Creativity School. Especially grateful to the mentors who have taught me so much and helped me with their feedback and tricks. I don't want to forget my classmates for their support. It is a pride to be surrounded by people with so much passion and talent.

Greetings! My name is Gaizka CoterĂ³n and I am a recent entrant to the world of animation. After trying a little here and there in the 3D world, I felt decided to study animation. I've only been learning for a little more than half a year, but I can already say that this has been one of the best decisions of my life.

Below you can see 2 videos where I have compiled my first exercises in the Master of 3D Character Animation in Animum Creativity School.

This first one belongs to the first part of the course that focuses on the basic principles of animation.

In the second section we explored the fundamentals of body mechanics, which led to planes with a little more personality. Gradually more elements were added to animate, first spine, neck and head, second, shoulders and arms.

Doing each of these 3 shots was a tough but very interesting and challenging experience, which I remember very positively. In the video below you can see them in the order in which I did them.

Right now I am going a little deeper into body mechanics and I am very excited with the result I am getting at this level. Unfortunately they are not ready to be presented yet but I hope to be able to put them in my first demoreel and present them here next year along with a lot of other cool stuff.

I hope you liked my first exercises and see you next year.

Thanks for watching!
