Enjoying and learning 3D Animation

Joan Enric Muñoz Torrell
by JoanEnricMunoz on 24 May 2022 for Rookie Awards 2022

Since 2020 I have been studying the Master in 3D character animation for cinema and videogames at Animum school. This process has been quite an adventure, where many hours of perseverance, enthusiasm, effort, and a lot of passion have had to be applied. To this day, I am very proud of what I have learned.

Cartoon pantomime:

Here you have the last shot I have made at Animum creativity advanced school, advised and supervised by Roger Giménez, a person who I admire the most and to whom I am deeply grateful for everything I have learned.

For animation to work, it's about crafting an idea with great solidity.
As surely the shot is going to undergo modifications throughout all its phases, the premise is that it shouldn't be too complicated, so it won't lose solidity or the essence of what was planned in the beginning.

Acting with two characters

I would also like to show you the latest acting work with two characters performed in Animum, advised and supervised by Sergio Díez del Nozal, with whom I couldn't be more grateful for the support received, for everything I have learned, and for the professionalism they instilled me.

Without any doubt, one of the animations in which I have learned the most, due to the difficulty of working and refining two characters with lypsing.

As a student and apprentice, these shots have been a challenge, where I have been able to learn and apply all the principles of animation, the cartoon style, the lipsyng, and thus be able to continue improving the level of refinement and see the deficiencies that I must improve. .

Once again, I would like to thank Roger Giménez and Sergio Díez del Nozal for all their support, Animum creativity advanced school, and all the colleagues who have accompanied me in this master's degree.
