In the air of Venice
For this entry to The Rookies Awards 2022, I decided to present you some props that could be in an animated movie. First, it is a coffee delivery tricycle . Then, the second project is a Venetian mask. For this last project, I wanted to work mainly on the texturing of the mask.

La Piccola Venezia
I would like to introduce you a coffee delivery tricycle named "La Piccola Venezia". When I was walking along the shores of Annecy’s Lake in France, I saw several very nice delivery tricycles and I found it very enthusiastic to make one in 3D. I named it "La Piccola Venezia", which means "The Little Venice" because the city of Annecy is nicknamed "The Little Venice of the Alps". Furthermore, it is a coffee delivery tricycle, and this beverage first arrived in Europe in the city of Venice (Italy) in the 17th century. So, I found it interesting to make a link between the origins of coffee in Europe, and the city of Annecy which inspired me to do this project. And I thought it would be nice to see this kind of small vehicle in an animated movie.

Venetian Mask
Then, I would like to present you a venetian mask. I decided to make this project in the aim of working on a props texturing. I am very fond of venetian masks, and I got the idea to do a plaster painting texture effect, with several patina layers, some gold platings, glitters, varnish, and color assortments.
