!BAD is a graduation exhibition of 5 girls from Digital Media Design that showcases the works in a website and social media, merchandise with interactive AR stickers to attract visitors and future employers. !BAD is an interpretation of our personality. "!" In c# language means NOT -- indicating the logo doesn't literally mean bad, but an abbreviation of Blaze, Aim and Deus sequentially.
These words means that we are 5 people who secretly has passion and strong beliefs in innovation. We intend to create and achieve while aiming for the best.
Concept
The whole art of this project derives from Backstreet mean girls concept that comes from our unique personalities. Outsiders might view our group as unapproachable and mean, this is because we mainly focus on our work, tasks and assignments rather than mingling with others.
Black as the background of all art in this project, because we wanted to keep things clean while focusing on the vibrant color of the decorative elements and characters that indicates each personality.
Character design
The characters started off as a 2D illustration, and showcasing 3D characters posing as mean girls when approaching the launch of the website.
To make these character look and feels like the real person, each of us list out things that reminds of themselves, in comparison to what other thinks. These items and words are included as a decorative element for each character.
