Project brief

To design a hotel for Hotel Capitol Kuala Lumpur at Jalan Bulan, off, ln Bukit Bintang, Bukit Bintang, 55100 Kuala Lumpur

  Problem Statement

There are associations with a set of environmental conditions, often including high density living conditions, excessive noise, high levels of environmental pollution, and the general pattern of environmental and social conditions often found in the inner areas of large cities. The high stimulation environment of sound pollution, traffic stress and other city related induced stress can cause people to develop mental health issues if exposed for long periods of time without break.

Especially in the midst if a pandemic, people are working from home, the same place where they live that means the last form of escape from the stress of work is now gone.

 Design Proposal

To design a space as a form of an escape from the high stress environment of the city or your own home. The proposed design is a service apartment/ hotel concept where people can come here and escape from their homes for a change to have a more work life balance. Work is separated from living spaces and work areas are designed to have an chilled environment allowing you to forget that you are in the city. With stunning projections of breathtaking scenes that create the illusion that distracts the customer and relieve them of stress and tension.
