Here is my entry for this year. I recently fell in love with hand-painted workflow and I did quite a lot of projects with this technic. I hope you will appreciate it as much as I did working on it!

Magician and swords
The magician
I made this personal project to improve my hand-painted skills, I really wanted to apply what I've recently learned on a game-ready character. I used a concept from the really cool artist Wu Shenyou.
Brocken sword
Another hand-painted personal project based on a great concept from Moniek Schilder. This sword was a small training that I made before the character above when I was seriously diving in the wonderful world of hand-painted workflow !
Rusty sword
Another sword inspired by a concept from Ron Broyde. Made during a class at Artside School under the direction of Camille Delmeule. My approach was a bit different this time, I Worked with a mix of PBR and hand-painted textures and not only albedo on a low mesh.
