Rogue planet integrated into new solar system.
Rogue Planet Name : Ibberon
Ibberon Inhabitants: Rogue planet ejected from its original solar system countless years ago from reasons lost to time. Civilisation of intelligent life living in its ocean to survive the frozen darkness of space. Through its travel through empty space, the planet has reached its last legs and has little to no activity left within it.
Planet Name : Abundiantus
Abundiantus Inhabitants: Ancient high civilisation, atlantis like-city. Its tribe is called the "Arumai"
Magic system : Magic based on specific lifeforms. Everyone in the city of Arum, except for the main character (Igasho), has magic based on animals. Igasho's magic is based on a plant (Red Spider Lily). Their magic allows them to take on attributes of the lifeform its derived from, manifesting as tangible constructs (like the Green Lanterns from DC Comics), or transforming their bodies into that of animals. Their magic occasionally shapes their personality and desires as well.
Context : Igasho was outcasted for having different powers from everyone else, as a result, he leaves his city to live a life on his own terms. Igasho travels through nature in all its glory, from serene forests to desert wastelands. Through his years wandering, he is the first person to discover that powers can be "generalised".
Story
Igasho was outcasted by the people of his city, Arum, for having powers different from everyone else's. He leaves Arum to live life his free from oppression.
Wandering the wilderness for decades, seeing boundless landscapes, surviving and defeating all that attacked him, from hoards of insects to giant apex predators, he was forced to hone his abilities. Through all his trials and tribulations, he eventually learns to control all plant life.
One day, he comes across a young girl fending for herself against wild beasts. Clearly heavily wounded, he rushes to her aid. Igasho treats her injuries with various medicinal herbs. The girl then introduces herself as Chenoa, daughter of Honovi, the current city Chieftain.
She explains that she ran away from the city because the weight of her social standing was crushing her with its rigidity, especially because her powers have not yet manifested. She does not want wealth or power, she wants freedom. Chenoa requests to follow Igasho in his travels, as his aimless wandering fits with her desire to freely see and document the world.
As the duo travels together, Igasho teaches Chenoa how to survive in the wild, such as foraging, hunting, and securing a resting spot.
About 6 months into their travels together, Chenoa began developing what seemed like powers of her own, she became stronger, her body feels lighter, and she could tell north from south. Igasho and Chenoa continually experiment with what she could and could not do, and they came to the conclusion that it might be some form of bird. Igasho wasn't too concerned about the exact species that her powers are derived from as he fully believed that she would end up broadening her range of powers anyway, just like he did. It wasn't until another 4 months had passed before Chenoa was able to partially transform into the animal her powers are derived from, a white Dove.
As they travelled on, they began to feel the earth quake. They followed the direction the quaking was coming from but had to stop because they were at the edge of a cliff. Chenoa, not wanting to end their search here, flies as far as she could in the direction of the quaking. After several minutes of flying she begins to see land, it was extremely dusty but bright sparks can be seen from within the clouds of dust. Feeling the exhaustion creeping in, she decides its time to return.
Chenoa flies back and lets Igasho know what she saw, and she suggests that they return to the city of Arum to relay their findings. Igasho, although uncomfortable with the idea, agrees.
As they drew closer to Arum, they come across a man by the riverbank. Igasho vaguely recognises the man but was surprised as he looks exactly the same as he did two decades ago. It was Adahy, a man who was once the Arumai Chieftain ages ago, but stepped down from his position as he felt that he was not fit for the role. Adahy was a little different from others, as he did not immediately judge or outcast Igasho for his strange magic. Igasho introduces himself and Chenoa, Igasho and Adahy spend the night telling stories of their experiences.
Adahy suggests that he accompany Igasho to visit the Chieftain, hoping his prescence might give Igasho and Chenoa's words more weight.
Adahy guides Igasho and Chenoa to Chieftain Honovi's residences. They find Honovi working in his field, Honovi likes to spend his free time ploughing. They approach Honovi and Igasho relays what he saw to Honovi. Honovi was initially hesitant to trust their story, as he sees Igasho as an outcast. However, Chenoa and Adahy insisted that the findings merited investigation. Honovi respects the words of the former chieftain, and his daughter, and begins putting together an expedition team.
