Two years at YRGO
These two years are soon coming to an end. I am deeply thankful for what this education have given me and are excited for new adventures.
Background
After graduating from high school with focus on art and design, I started working as a fashion-photographer and a retoucher. However, fashion was not what I was most passionate about, rather the background story and emotions you get when you look at a picture. My interests for digital creation, design and photography grew and that’s why I chose to study architectural visualization at YRGO in Gothenburg, Sweden. Two years later and I am still as hungry to learn new things within my field. In this year's entry I want to show what I have created so far.
The Haunting Chair (2020)
The task for this project was to model a chair only using pictures as reference. The goal was to make a high quality 3D-model with nice details placed in an environment. I chose The Hunting chair, designed by Børge Mogensen.
To keep the object in focus I have used the sunlight to create contrast between the chair and the background. I most of all play with the light in the image but have also combined the warm colors similar to the chair. The choice of the painting on the wall leads the eyes down towards the chair.

Mahaki Hotel (2021)
This project was a group exercise where me and two other students had to work as a team. We had to come up with a concept for a hotel located in North Island - New Zealand and got the target group Explorer. The goal was to make it look like one person had done all the three pictures and also create an adventurous vibe.
"The Hotel room should be made for people who are looking for peace and tranquility after days spent surfing in the ocean or climbing in the mountains" With these words in my mind during the process I wanted to create a calm space that looked like a guest room, without resembling an ordinary bedroom. To connect the active people who will be staying at the hotel, I have for example in this scene used a surfboard as art, as well as the illuminated mountains that everybody in our group used to connect our pictures to each other.

A Golden Place (2021)
With focus on photoshop, the idea with this matte painting challenge was to focus more on artistic values than on realism. The image started with a simple sketch, where my classmates got to choose mood from my reference suggestions. With help from a quick render in 3D and with suitable pictures I created this golden fantasy place.

Kitchen Animation
This was a project in school where we learned animating in 3ds Max - Corona. I also took the opportunity to take some still images from the scene.

The Villa (2021)
The brief was to model a house in 3Ds Max using house plans. During the project I learned using Forrestpack and Railclone for the first time. My plan was to create two exterior images, one day and one night.
During the project the inspiration came from my experience of Swedish summer. For me summer includes - green nature, horses, sunshine and a lot of fika on the terrace.

The Stable Project (2022)
I am very fascinated by horses so here comes one more project with them! This time an animation created in early access Unreal 5. It is an extension of the Villa project I would say.
My goal here was to animate the rigged horses and also create a good composition by using video instead of still images.

Internship (2022)
Last but not least I want to show some interior images that I have created during my internship. The small company works with interior styling and has a design furniture store. They wanted some pictures where the things they sell were well displayed.

That's everything from me, thank you so much!
