Krieghoff Luger
Hello, here I am showing my recent work which I am proud to share with you. This Luger based on real Krieghoff Luger. High-resolution here: https://www.artstation.com/artwork/ZezGKm
This is the result of a final work at Think Tank Training Centre. This great learning experience improved my hard surface modeling, texturing, engraving (a lot), and rendering skills in Marmoset Toolbag.
Behind the scene:
High poly was done in Zbrush without engraving.
I have tried more than 10 different methods of creating an engraving and concluded that such a complex pattern is best done in Substance Painter using hand-made masks in photoshop with procedural effects on top.
Textures were done in Substance Painter. As a result, two textures for all weapons and a texture for the box.
