Western Cinematic
A real-time Cinematic driven by Motion Capture. I created a playable character driven by the keyframe animation I created, when walking up to the saloon it triggers a cinematic that was created with motion capture clean up in MotionBuilder and secondary motion and facial animation added in Maya.
The goal of this project was to learn to work with motion capture data. By creating a cinematic inside of Unreal Engine,
Learning how to set up a playable character in Unreal Engine and have the player trigger the cinematic.
I learned a lot during this project: planning a motion capture shoot, working/cleaning up the data in MotionBuilder, setting up a cinematic in the Unreal Sequencer, audio, cinematography, creating a playable character in Unreal and more.
I loved working on this project and hope c can work on many more like this in the future.
