Start of a journey
I started my journey as a digital artist in 2019 From learning the very basics of low poly modeling to presenting props and environments in unreal engine. This is my first time truly exposing my work so far
Prop art: for those two projects i recreated props from real life reference.
Highpoly/lowpoly workflow
I used maya to model the 'mid' poly shapes, those were then exported to houdini to create the high poly meshes. this was done by voxelizing the poly mesh, smoothing the volume and converting back to a poly mesh
the texturing was done in substance painter and presentation in UE4
Environment art in UE5
The ruins project was done entirely with dynamic lights using the Lumen GI
For the second project I was inspired by the recent Hogwarts Legacy trailer and recreated the charms class room from the original Harry Potter movie in UE5. For this scene all lights were baked
both projects make use of bridge's megascan library and a few custom made meshes
