This is a 3D work of the Kareigawa station that actually exists in Japan. It shows that time flows along with the direction of movement of the train around the unmanned station.

This is 3D background artwork. The concept of the work is Kareigawa Station in Japan.

It is actually a railway station 'Kareigawa Station' on the Hisatsu (Tsu) Line of the JR Kyushu (Kyushu) Passenger Railway located in Kirishima City, Kagoshima Prefecture, Japan.

Built in 1903, it is a wooden ground station with one-sided, one-line, single-track platform. It is the oldest in Kagoshima Prefecture and has been designated as a 'Registered Cultural Property'.

Although it is now an unmanned station, it is also a place where tourists constantly visit to see the antique wooden history.

It is a space full of exquisite wooden station building, station atmosphere, and unique retro nostalgia that matches Kagoshima, a warm southern country.

The overall work order is modeling -> texture -> lighting -> compositing -> post-processing -> sound and text work.

To express Japanese cherry blossoms, the season was chosen as spring. I expressed the platform of the station where the train enters from afar.

The vegetation used the speed tree, and it was applied by setting the Wind value in the speed tree.

The texture of the floor under the railroad was taken care of so that it flows naturally without looking like a pattern using UV Randomize.

For bright scenes, 'Sun & Sky' and 'V-ray physical cameras' were used.

As the sun slowly sets, it expresses a scene where the sunlight falls long into the station interior.

The attachments blown by the wind as the train came in tried to match the timing to the stop of the train using ncloth, voltex, etc.

I expressed the entrance of the station in the bright early evening when the sun just passed.

I worked mainly on the expression of the blue feeling of the early evening, and the tiles were randomly placed with mash to make it look invisible as a pattern.

The dark scene was based on 'Dome Light' and used 'ies Light', 'Rect Light', and 'Sphere light'.

Made a public phone booth located next to the station late at night.

Although it was not included in the final video, I uploaded a public phone scene that I worked on separately.

From the dark night scene when the sun was completely set, the overall tone was matched by properly tuning the lighting and fog.

In the middle of the dark background, insects flying around bright lights including street lamps are the points.

Late at night, I finished by showing the platform where the last train left.

The sky background of all scenes was synthesized in Nuke.

Since it is a place that actually exists, we find many references and proceed.

Although it is not in the reference photo, I have created and added models that express Japan.

Based on the reference photos, I set the camera angle for the scene.

Looking at the camera angles of the actual photos, I worked efficiently and quickly by distinguishing the parts that were detailed and the parts that were not.

Thank you for watching :))
