This weapon was made for the course Game Asset Pipeline (GAP) at Howest DAE. All modelling is done in 3dsMax, texturing in Substance Painter and the scene is made in Unreal Engine 4
Hi, my name is Jens Brunson and I'm a 2nd year Game Graphics Production student at Howest DAE, Kortrijk. For the course Game Asset Pipeline (GAP), we have to make a complex PBR prop. After some brainstorming and a few blockouts, I decided on modelling the Vetterli 71 Karbiner Deadeye from the game Hunt Showdown.
I really love the design of this weapon, as it's a big combination of a lot of Vetterli designs from real life. Hunt Showdown's weapons are all fictional but most look like they could've actually existed, like this rifle.
