It was a fun project for exploring ideas and creating different mood with unique lighting conditions.

Character : T posed character_from Mixamo's free characters collection

The character was edited and re textured in blender. Reposed it using Transpose master addon in zbrush.

The cat was made in zbrush as a part of animal anatomy study.

Modelling and adding more assets and props to scene.

Working on lighting and composition with the props ready as this point.

Texturing the props in a stylized style.

I am planning to make a mix of stylized and realistic scene because i think it expresses the story and mood in a more vivid way. And makes the viewer connect to the story.

Here is my progress for the competition.

The idea is to design a attic kid room which show the winter weather condition full of fog and overcast sky light as base. To balance the exterior lighting effect a warmer/heater will be used to create focus and contrast in the scene.

I have modelled the Attic Room in blender and did some preliminary lighting conditions. 

Props are made in Zbrush and blender. 

Textures sets are taken from texture.com

The first thing that came to my mind while thinking about the topic Winter Stories was the evening time during winters.

Most people wake up in morning and go to work/school in chills and when they come back from work in evening, they have a cup of tea or coffee and sit back in there cozy place in peace without distractions.

That feeling of comfort, warmth, and relaxation makes people happy and conscious about there life and surrounding.

Here are some major key ideas, reference for set design, mood and lighting. There is a list of props that might be required for the final design. I am planning to model 2-3 props a day and may have to download some props which will be credited to original creator or website.
