Conan & Sibyl - Nicola Licandro - Game ready Characters
These are the two most recent projects I worked on this year, to which particular attention was paid in the development of new techniques. The aim was to get out of the comfort zone to improve myself and achieve quality in my characters ready for the industry standard.
Conan the Barbarian
Diablo IV Fan Art
The project was done in the period between January and April during my last year at university.
This Fan Art for Diablo IV is the portrait of the most famous of the barbarians inspired by the reference shown below trying to remain faithful to Diablo's artistic style at the same time.
This subject was chosen with the aim of deepening the anatomy of the body and muscles in realistic subjects.
A more in-depth study on the modeling of realistic assets was also necessary with a particular focus on materials.
Textures and Topology
Project made for my third year at university.
Sybil is a dark sorceress inspired following the Overwatch art style, located in a fantastic medieval landscape this powerful sorceress, is on a journey in search of the true source of her magic.
In the creation of the project various techniques were experimented in various programs such as Marvelous for clothes and other simulators such as Dynamo (3ds max plug in for clothes in real time), hard surfaces created in Z brush with z modeller and creation of custom brushes for hair and other details.
