Future Trunks

I wanted to take a cartoon character and model them in a realistic style. I decided to make a bust of Future Trunks from Dragon Ball Z. I sculpted the face in Zbrush. I simulated the clothes in Marvelous Designer and added more detail in Zbrush. The retopology was done in Maya and the hair was done with Xgen. The textures were made with Substance painter, including the face which I hand painted. TexturingXYZ was used for the iris. All renders were done with Marmoset Toolbag and then composited in Photoshop.

I couldn't have made this without mentoring from Henrique Naspolini through the mentor coalition and feedback from Jayson Fitch.

Hauk - Grand Space Opera: Light Age (real-time)

Created for the Grand Space Opera challenge. Modelling done in zbrush and maya. Clothes done in marvelous designer. Retopology and UVs were done in maya. Textured in substance painter. Rendered in marmoset toolbag 4 without raytracing.
