3D model for a Science Fiction Fantasy RPG Character Design.

My name is Graeme and I’m a 3D character design student and former ceramics industry sculptor looking to explore a career within the games industry. I am currently a little more than halfway through my final year at university and although incomplete, I decided to submit the model I intend to make game ready in a month or so from now.

In terms of narrative, my primary interest is in science fiction fantasy, which was the inspiration for The White Emperor, who is the barbaric leader of the occupying forces of a distant planet. This unspeakably cruel individual conducts his fragile grasp of power remotely through deceit and treachery.

The primary focus of this project was to demonstrate the production pipeline involved in the field of 3D creature design. Once the high resolution Zbrush sculptures and 3D colour sketches are complete, the process of retopology in Maya, UV baking in Marmoset, PBR texturing in Substance and lighting will have been explored.
