Magical Sword

A sword with strong magical power.

In this portfolio piece I wanted to make a fantasy stylized sword. I wanted to make it look like it is from a magical fantasy world.

This portfolio piece was made in approximately 3 weeks and many different programs such as Photoshop, Autodesk Maya, Zbrush, Substance Painter and Marmoset Toolbag 4 was used. The lowpoly model was made in Autodesk Maya. The highpoly was made in Zbrush and the textures was made in Substance Painter. Marmoset Toolbag 4 was then later used to render. The effects, as the particles were made in Photoshop.

The forbidden cave

A big forbidden cave.

My second project that I wanted to make was a big cave. It is a place based on my own world-building. My goal with this project was to make a cave from start to finish. To create all assets and assemblage them, to make a cave.

This project took approximately 6 weeks halftime to finish. To be able to make this project, I used programs as Autodesk Maya, Zbrush, Substance Painter and Unreal Engine 4. I have created all lowpoly models in Autodesk Maya. All highpoly models were made in Zbrush and the texturing was made in Substance Painter. The lightning and assemblage of the cave was made in Unreal Engine 4.

Baby Dragon

A little playful baby dragon.

When I made this project I wanted to make a cute little creature. The baby dragon is made by me and the animation and rig is made by my dear friend Julia Eklund Granstedt (https://www.juliagranstedt.com/)

This project took approximately 3 weeks half time to complete. The programs used to make the baby dragon was Autodesk Maya, Zbrush, Substance Painter and Marmoset Toolbag. The lowpoly model was made in Autodesk Maya and the highpoly model were created in Zbrush. He was then textured in Substance Painter. Last but not least he were rendered with lighting in Marmoset Toolbag.

Drained Life - Diorama

The portfolio piece "Drained Life" is a magical tree which have had its life drained because the magical orb supporting it got destroyed.

In this piece I wanted to make a stylized diorama and also bring in some storytelling. "The magical orb brings life to the tree but because the orb got destroyed, the life is now draining away." That is also one of the reasons why I chose to make the tree more colorless at the top and more colorful at the bottom were there is still some life.

This project took approximately 3 weeks halftime. All lowpoly models were made in Autodesk Maya. The highpoly models were made in Zbrush and the texturing were made in Substance Painter. The diorama were then lighted in Marmoset Toolbag 4.
