Demonic Chapel

University final major project - Realtime Environment of a Satanic Chapel Inspired by Diablo and created in the Art Style of Heroes of the Storm.

The goal of this project was to create a scene I had been planning for a while. I wanted to create a Chapel that had been created to worship Satan. The original idea stemmed from concept art of Tristram Cathedral. I then merged in personal Research into English Chapels Layouts and then some research into Greek Architecture due to its historical connection to the origin of Demons. I chose to Create the scene in the Art Style of Heroes of the Storm because it was an Art Style I was experienced with, and it was by the same Developers that inspired the scene.

3DS Max: Base mesh, UV

Zbrush: Sculpting

Maya: retopology

Substance Painter and Photoshop: Texturing.

Unreal Engine 4: Presentation.

Festival Boat Stall

University final major project - Realtime Environment Diorama of a Floating Stall at a Dock-Side Festival, based on the Concept Art by Nao Tokunaga

The goal of this project was to create a Diorama based on the concept Art but Translated into the Art Style of Sea of Thieves. I chose to do this because it was an Art Style I hadn't done and I could see it being a good challenge Translating between 2 very different Art Styles. I went about this by Focusing less on what the object looked like in the concept art and more about what the object is and what it added to the Diorama.

3DS Max: Base mesh, UV

Zbrush: Sculpting

Maya: retopology

Substance Painter: Texturing.

Unreal Engine 4: Presentation.
