Portfolio 2019
This my three projects I did during my portfolio course at The Game Assembly. Every project is made and presented using Unreal Engine. Was really fun to work on and thanks to all my classmates and teachers who helped me along the way! Read more on my portfolio, adamarchives.com.
UE4 Sunday Coffe Interior
I modeled every single assets in Maya and made clothing inside Marvelous Designer and a bit tweaking in ZBrush.
For the textures I created all tilling textures inside Substance Designer and for smaller props I used Substance Painter. For the rug I made my own material inside Unreal and used Parallax Occlusion Mapping to get the fluffy rug fealing. I did the pattern inside Substance Designer. For the bigger objects I baked normal maps and made lowpoly to save geometry and stay optimized!
James Lee House
My intentions was to learn more about making my own materials in Substance Designer/Painter as seting up a good lighting in Unreal 4. I modeled every assets using Autodesk Maya.
Industrial Restaurant
This is my industrial restaurant project I created using Unreal Engine. For this project I wanted to focus on lighting, materials and reflections. I modeled every single assets in Maya and worked a lot in Substance Designer to create tiling textures.
This is inspired by Javier Wainstein who did a render of this composition using Vray.
