Photorealistic Wristwatch Illustration

For my submission, I recreated a Diesel DZ7307 Wristwatch. I used Adobe Illustrator as my software of choice and created the watch using vector art.

I began with this image as my reference material. I attempted to find an image with a higher resolution but was unsuccessful. This made it difficult to accurately replicate smaller components with accuracy. However, overall I'm happy with how it turned out. 

In illustrator, I had to play around with gradients to match the glossy and metallic textures of the watch. Almost every object in the image has a drop shadow applied to it. This helps to emphasize the depth of each component and gives the illustration the illusion of three dimensions. The only component of this image that I did not create is the leather texture that is used on the watch's band.
