History before Time

After months of work and suffering, I would like to share with you the result of my Master's degree final project I did in CICE – La Escuela de Nuevas Tecnologías in Madrid, Spain with SideFX Houdini.

All work was made by me, except some models and sounds. It's inspired by Lovecraftian literature, but it's adapted to short animation, which I gave the opportunity to put on all my recent knowledge about the this poweful software: fluids, pyro, rigids, pop particles, etc.

Take some references, such as the helix nebula captured by NASA to create the shape of galaxies and video-simulations by the Science Channel team entitled: "How the Universe Works".

To sum it up, it was become a marvelous challenge for me. I hope to continue working on the next scenes.
